CLEANING
Wear protective gloves and eye protection when performing the cleaning procedure
Carefully read and understand the full written instructions prior to cleaning the Rapids™. Cleaning intervals
are dependent on feed water to the unit and product water usage.
STEP 1|
Select and press the MENU button.
STEP 2|
Select and press the MAINTENANCE button.
STEP 3|
Select and press the CLEANING button.
STEP 4|
Select and press the BEGIN button.
STEP 5|
Remove the cover then select and press the NEXT button.
STEP 6|
Remove the final filter.
STEP 7|
Attach a tube to the dispenser fitting to port outlet and route to a drain.
STEP 8|
Turn off the water inlet valve.
STEP 9|
Press the BEGIN PURGE button.
STEP 10|
Use the fitting removal tool to remove the top tubing/fittings from the cartridges. Press the NEXT
button.
STEP 11|
Use the fitting removal tool to remove the bottom tubing/fittings from the cartridges. Press the
NEXT button.
STEP 12|
Remove the old cartridges from the Rapids™ system. Press the NEXT button.
STEP 13|
Install the cleaning tubes that are attached to the back plate of the Rapids™ unit, in place of the
cartridges. Press the NEXT button.
STEP 14|
Press OPEN DISPENSE VALVE, then press the NEXT button.
