Adjusting End-of-Stroke Limit Switch
Located at the
bottom of the arm,
the end-of-stroke limit switch
allows the arm motor to stop when
the grabber is down and ensures that the tension of the chains is adequate. To adjust this limit switch,
apply the following procedure:
1.
Take down
the grabber completely by using the joystick.
2.
Turn off the engine.
3.
Unscrew the lever screws of the limit switch.
4.
Raise the detection lever a little bit and tighten up the screws.
5.
Repeat the procedure until the chains stay flat on the mast when the grabber reaches the end of its
stroke. The
chains shall not be loose.

Danger!
All limit switches MUST be working at all times. Otherwise, the operator may not be aware
that the arm is not fully retracted or that the gripper is open or closed. This may cause
accidents, injuries and/or property damage.
Caution!
This procedure must be done correctly before adjusting the gripper auto-closing system.
