Repeat steps
6 to 8 to adjust the left-hand side upper wear pad.

OTE
:
You can start the upper wear pad adjustment at either side of the packer, then proceed with the
other side.
Lower Wear Pads
Before Removing Lower Wear Pads
When preparing to remove the lower wear pad:
1.
Start the engine and engage the hydraulic pump.
2.
Using the joystick, extend the lifting arm to get a better access to the hopper area.
3.
Fully extend the packer and push the red emergency
STOP
button to keep it at this position.
4.
Disengage the hydraulic pump and stop the engine.

Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see

Removing Lower Wear Pad
To remove the lower wear pad:
1.
Extend the packer completely.
2.
Open the floating panel.
3.
Remove the retaining screws holding the lower wear pad (see Figure 3-30).

Always lock out and tag out the vehicle when inspecting or performing maintenance on
it (see
Locking out and Taging Out the Vehicle
.
Danger!
Secure the area around the path of the arm when performing maintenance or repair.
Warning!
Keep hands and fingers away from the pinch point of the floating panel.
