Water catheters (see § 3.6).

Connect the pump tube to the filling lumen of the catheter.

Prepare the EMG cables and apply the EMG electrodes (see § 2.5.10).
Press the
Start investigation
button.
Press the
Pump
ON
button to start the pump.
Press the
First
sensation
button to mark the first sensation. Use this
button for all sensation markers.
When the patient is unable to tolerate further filling or if the bladder is filled
sufficiently, press the
Pump
button to stop.
Press the
Stop
investigation
button. Enter the residual urine if prompted.

simultaneously to zero the

) during the pre-test and, if
necessary, during the measurement.

Valsalva begin/end
to start/end the Valsalva
manoeuvre.

to start the Cough Leak Point
Pressure procedure (CLPP). Ask the patient to cough; the
software will insert cough markers around the peaks.
Press
Leakpoint
to mark a leakpoint.
