Steam Boiler Pressure Regulation
•
This espresso machine comes with the option of
either a pressure switch or a temperature probe for
maintaining pressure in the steam boiler.
•
The pressure switch is standard on all espresso
machines. In some cases a temperature probe may
be used.
•
The pressure switch regulates pressure via a
diaphragm type pressure switch. The pressure may
be adjusted via a small screw on the switch.
•
When a temperature probe has been installed the
pressure in the steam boiler is regulated by adjusting
the temperature of the steam boiler via the display.
•
Since the temperature of saturated water is
proportional to the pressure it is possible to control
the pressure of the steam boiler via a temperature
probe.
