Audio Monitoring
For TSO compliant FA2100CVRs mounted in the aircraft, previously recorded data
cannot be monitored from the FA2100CVR. This is a security feature implemented
to protect the rights of pilots and other flight crew members.
The Cockpit Area Microphone (CAM), pilot, co-pilot, and spare audio can be moni-
tored during recording using a headset plugged into the 1/4-inch, 600-ohm phone
jack mounted on the front panel of the associated control unit.
