3-4 CONNECTING THE PC

Connect the "LAN" connector on the rear panel of the EDS-400A (or EDS-450A) to the PC LAN
connector using a commercially available LAN cable.
Use a

cross LAN cable

to connect the EDS-400A (or EDS-450A) directly to the PC.

Use a

straight LAN cable

to connect a hub between the EDS-400A(or EDS-450A) and the PC.

Refer to the Software Instruction Manual for the PC settings required to connect the EDS-400A (or EDS-
450A) to the PC.
