Turn ON the power to
the EDS-400A.
Eject the CF card having recording conditions form the
PC and then, install it in the card slot of the EDS-400A.
Turn ON the EDS-400A power, press the “READ” switch
and set data recording conditions to the EDS-400A. The
recording conditions are successfully set if the “READ”
lamp lights up in green.
If necessary, press the “ZERO” switch of the master EDS-
400A to conduct zero suppression. Pressing the “ZERO”
switch of the master EDS-400A conducts zero suppression
for all the EDS-400As connected with sync cables.
Set required conditions to
the EDS-400A.
eWhen supplying power to the EDS-400A, sequentially
turn ON the power from unit No. 00 followed by unit
Nos. 01, 02, 03, ….07. On the contrary, sequentially
turn OFF the power from units with large ID numbers.
Take care that incorrect power ON/OFF may cause
faulty measurement.

Install the CF card to the EDS-400A
If “READ” lamp is flashing red, it is error. See “5.
TROUBLESHOOTING.”
If the “ZERO” switch of the slave EDS-400A is
pressed, zero suppression is conducted only for the
above unit.
