Set LAN connection of the PC.

4 OPERATING PROCEDURES
4-1 FLOW OF OPERATION WHEN ONE EDS-400A (OR EDS-450A) IS USED

Online measurement
Install the bundled Control Software /Data Display
Software on the PC.
For installation procedures, refer to the respective
Software Instruction Manuals.
To have one-to-one connection between the EDS-400A
(or
EDS-450A)
which is set to default and the PC, change the
network setting on the PC side. Set the IP address of the
PC side to “192.168.0.***” and subnet mask
to“255.255.255.0.”
For setting procedures, refer to the Software Instruction
Manual.
When only one EDS-400A
(or EDS-450A)
is used, the ID
No. is 00 fixed. After changing the ID address, restart up
the EDS-400A (or EDS-450A).
For setting procedures, refer the Software Instruction
Manual.
[Ref.] This setting is not necessary is default setting 00 of
the EDS-400A (or EDS-450A) is used.
Select
Configuration
from the
File
(F) pull down menu
and then, register the number of units used as well as IP
addresses of the EDS-400A
(or EDS-450A)
in use.
Start the Control Software. Then, select
Configuration
and then, set the number of units used, IP address, file
saving folder, etc.

Data Display Software.
When operating the EDS-400A (or EDS-450A) on
WindowsXP, it is required to restart the PC every time
IP address of the EDS-400A
(or EDS-450A)
is changed
considering the network setting on the PC.
