Chapter 09 – Assistance mode 47

In the first step, the desired satellite must be chosen from a list (SAT List). The satellites marked with * are the recently
used ones and are recommended to use first. Pressing

ENTER

the highlighted one is taken and switch over to the next

step.

As second step the connection is tested by measuring the LNB current. The text “NEXT>” is shown only if a LNB current
is detected and the function of the arrow key > is enabled to switch over to the next step.

At 3

rd

step an advice to align the SAT dish is shown. The angles to align the dish are individually calculated for the

chosen satellite at this position. The shown position is for the region around Munich. To adapt the position to yours, use
the menu “Edit your position” (see Assistance Mode above). These geographical data then are stored in the nonvolatile
memory.
