6.2 DVB-S mode 

Using this mode, QPSK-modulated DVB-S signals can be received and measured. 

 

 

 

6.2.1 Symbol rate input 

You must set the corresponding symbol rate before receiving a DVB-S signal. The device offers the operator ten preset 
symbol rates for rapid input. Select MODE > Symbol rate to use one of the ten preset symbol rates. Use the 

Up/Down

 

arrow keys to select the required symbol rate. The new symbol rate is selected when you press 

ENTER

.  

Press > to change the preset symbol rate between 2,000 and 45,000 kBd (2,000—45,000 MSym/s). At tuning the  
device tries out every symbol rate of this list until it is locked. To shorten this procedure you can use only the first five  
of the list or all ten. You can choose between these options via the menu Used SRs. This setting is store in the non-
