Cracker packer

The cracker packer rollers are equipped with knives that enable
intensive cultivation of the soil.
Between the rollers, there are scrapers, which remove soil deposits
from the rollers.
Both the knives and the scrapers are mounted on a corresponding
frame.
The cultivation intensity of the soil can be changed by adjusting the
frame in relation to the roller. Three work positions are possible as well
as deactivation of the knives via a perforated plate.
In addition, the pretension of the pressure spring can be further in-
creased.
The more intensively the knives are used, the greater the level of wear
and also the probability that a wall will form in front of the roller. Then
reduce the driving speed, if necessary.
In position 4, it is advisable to check the distance between the scrapers
and the roller.
The scrapers must never touch the roller. If necessary, correct their
position.
