Depending on the tractor involved, the PTO will need to be shortened
before installation. This task may only be performed by properly qual-
ified individuals.

Couple the PTO shaft to the tractor and secure
Fix the anti-twist protection for the PTO shaft guard tube to the trac-
tor
Lift the machine
Connecting
After coupling, make the following connections:

Electrics
•
Hydraulics
Electrics
If present, attach the following electrical cables to the tractor:

The lighting of the machine
Check all connections to ensure they are working properly
Increased risk of injury
Connecting the PTO shaft creates an increased risk of injury.
Therefore:
•
Install only the PTO shaft supplied or one of an identical type
•
When attaching it ensure that the PTO shaft locks engage se-
curely
•
When operating the machine, make sure that the PTO speed is
correct.
Failure to observe these instructions may result in serious or fatal
injuries.
Observe the maximum permissible deflection angle of the PTO
shaft
If the machine is in work position, the deflection angle of the PTO
shaft must not exceed 20°.
The maximum permissible deflection angle for the PTO shaft is 25°.
