Removing the Transformer
1. Disconnect the stranded wire cables from J501 on the Audio Board and from J24 on the
Interface Board.
2. Remove the four nuts that secure the transformer to the back panel.
3. Remove the transformer.
Replacing the Transformer
1. Position the transformer on the back panel and install the four nuts to secure it.
2. Connect the stranded wire cables to J501 on the Audio Board and to J24 on the Interface
Board.
3. Verify the cables are properly routed and bundled. If the service you performed required
cutting tie wraps, apply new tie wraps. If a ground strap was disconnected, be sure to
reconnect it.
Removing a Tweeter
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the tweeter terminals. Be sure to note the location of
each wire to avoid reversing them when you reconnect them.
2. Remove the four screws that secure the tweeter mounting bracket to the cabinet and place
it on your work surface.
Caution:
The tweeter mounting brackets are located near speaker ports. When you remove
the mounting bracket hardware, be careful nothing falls into the port.
3. Remove the four screws that secure the tweeter to the mounting bracket.
4. Remove the tweeter.
Replacing a Tweeter
1. Place the tweeter on the mounting bracket (the terminals should be positioned in the upper
portion of the mounting bracket) and install the four screws to secure it.
2. Position the mounting bracket in the cabinet and install the four screws.
3. Attach the speaker cable to the terminals.
