6.4.6 Connections for the hydraulic braking
(depending upon specification)
- Connect hydraulic hose for braking system to the
tractor "trailer brake" coupler.
After connecting the hose, check that there is no risk
of it getting caught during operation.
- Check that the brakes work correctly.
6.4.7 Pneumatic braking connections
(depending upon specification)

Check connector cleanliness prior to
connecting the hoses.
- Respect hose colour when connecting
them:
• Red (a): Feed line.
• Yellow (b): Actuating line.
- Connect the coiled air brake hoses to the tractor:
• The push-button of the valve is automatically
released (safety break released).
- After connecting the air hoses, check that
there is no risk of them becoming caught
during operation.
- Check that the brakes work correctly.
In the Following cases, the emergency brake is
automatically activated thanks to the air
contained in the tank:
• In case of supply air hose breakage (red).
• In case of manual disconnection of the air
hose (red).
This function is valid the first time the tank is
filled.
