10.4.9 Inspection of knives and securing
elements
Knives
-
Inspect systematically all knives before the
machine is operated to:
• ensure the cutting quality.
• ensure safety in use.
• Prevent cutterbar damage risks.
- Replace knives in the following cases:
• Damaged knives:
Very rough conditions can cause knives to crack
and become deformed.
Immediately replace worn or damaged parts with
genuine KUHN parts.
When the following equipment is fitted
:
Knife attachment per bolt and nut.
