8.2.2 Ground pressure
The ground pressure adjustment determins the
safety breakback adjustment.
Example: increasing the pressure on the
pressure gauge reduces the mowing unit ground
pressure and increases the release force.
The mowing unit suspension is obtained by a hydro-
pneumatic accumulator. By modifying the
accumulator pressure, the mowing unit ground
pressure varies.
The hydro-pneumatic accumulator system also
operates the safety breakback function.
In case an obstacle is struck:
• The suspension pressure increases in order to
decrease the ground pressure.
• The mowing unit can pivot up to 24° to the rear.
• Once the obstacle is passed, the mowing unit
automatically regains its initial position.
In case an obstacle has been struck, check
that the mowing unit has not been damaged.
