CATALYTIC CONVERTER
The function of the converter catalyst is to convert HC, CO and
NOX after incomplete combustion into innocuous gas such as
H2O,CO2 and N2 then discharge them out. The converter con-
tains rare metal like platinum and rhodium and only unleaded gas-
oline can be used.
