5. Remove and dispose of gasket 400.19.
6. Place the back pull-out unit on a clean and level surface.
7.4.5 Removing the impeller
7.4.5.1 Single-stage variant

The notes and steps stated in (
Section 7.4.4, Page 52) have been observed/carried out.

The back pull-out unit is kept in a clean and level assembly area.
1. Undo impeller nut 922 (right-hand thread).
2. Remove impeller 230 with a puller.
3. Place impeller 230 on a clean and level surface.
4. Remove keys 940.01 from shaft 210.

If equipped with KSB cartridge seal (4ES):
Remove intermediate ring 509.95.
Sizes 200-500, 250-300, 300-340 and KSB cartridge seal (4EB):
Remove
intermediate ring 509.

The back pull-out unit is kept in a clean and level assembly area.
1. Undo impeller nut 922 (right-hand thread).
2. Remove impeller 230.01 with an impeller removal device.
3. Place impeller 230.01 on a clean and level surface.
4. Pull off diffuser 171.
5. Place diffuser 171 on a clean and level surface.
6. Pull off spacer sleeve 525.01.
7. Remove impeller 230.02 with an impeller removal device.
8. Remove key 940.01 from shaft 210.

If equipped with KSB cartridge seal (4ES):
Remove intermediate ring 509.95.
If equipped with KSB cartridge seal (4EB):
Remove intermediate ring 509.
