10. Heat bearing sleeve 529.01 to a temperature between approx. 190 °C and
approx. 210 °C and remove from shaft 210 by pulling towards the shaft end.
11. After dismantling the components allow the complete rotor to cool down.
WARNING
Hot rotor/ hot components
Risk of burns!
Allow the rotor and components, if applicable, to cool down after dismantling.
7.3.12 Removing the impeller wear ring
1. Remove grub screws 904.01 of impeller wear rings 503.01 / 503.02 / 503.11.
2. Heat impeller wear rings 503.01 / 503.02 / 503.11.
3. Pull off impeller wear rings 503.01 / 503.02 / 503.11 using a suitable tool.
7.4 Reassembling the pump
7.4.1 General information/Safety regulations
WARNING
Pump parts falling down during dismantling and reassembly.
Risk of injury from falling parts!

Use appropriate means to secure the parts, if possible.

Wear safety shoes.
▷
Observe the applicable local accident prevention regulations.

Improper lifting/moving of heavy assemblies or components
Personal injury and damage to property!

Use suitable transport devices, lifting equipment and lifting tackle to move
heavy assemblies or components.
WARNING
O-rings in contact with oil or grease
Risk of injury in the event that the hot, pressurised fluid handled escapes!

Do not take the O-rings out of their original packagings until immediately
before they are fitted and protect them from mineral oil and grease.
▷
Do not fit the O-rings in dry condition: Observe the specifications on auxiliary
materials for assembly outlined by KSB and the manufacturer of the mechanical
seal.
▷
Check the O-rings for damage before they are fitted.
WARNING
Damage to locating and sealing surfaces through improper reassembly or
dismantling.
Risk of injury in the event that the hot, pressurised fluid handled escapes!
