CAUTION
Improper lifting of bearing housings
Damage to the shaft!
Always ensure that the hexagon head screws are loosened before taking up the
slack when lifting.
4. Loosen and remove hexagon head screws 901.01.
5. Lift bearing housing 350.01 using lifting equipment.
6. Take labyrinth ring 423.01 out of bearing housing 350.01.
7. Bend open lock washer 931.01.
8. Remove slotted round nut 920.02.
9. Remove lock washer 931.01.
10. Pull deep-groove ball bearing 320.01 off shaft 210 using a puller.
11. Pull oil thrower 508.01 off shaft 210.
CAUTION
Improper assembly/dismantling
Damage to thrust ring!

Use a suitable tool to bend open the thrust ring until it can be pulled from the
shaft.
▷
Never bend the thrust ring excessively.
12. Remove thrust ring 501.03.
7.3.8 Removing the mechanical seal
1. Remove the mechanical seal cartridge from the shaft.
The seal can be dismantled, checked and re-assembled in accordance with the seal
manufacturer’s product literature. (
7.3.9 Removing the rotor
1. Loosen cap nuts 920.01 and remove including discs 550.01.
2. Remove taper pins 560.01.
CAUTION
Improper transport
Damage to the pump!

Never use the cast lifting lugs for lifting the entire pump.
▷
The cast lifting lugs provided on the upper casing half are for lifting the upper
casing half only.
3. Attach upper casing half to lifting equipment using the 2 cast lifting lugs.
4. Carefully lift upper casing half and place on a suitable surface (e.g. wood,
rubber) to protect the sealing surfaces.
