Adjustments

3.6 Adjusting the conditioner cover plate

AMT-3-011

The conditioner cover plate can be adjusted by means of the
crank handle (1) to adjust the conditioning of the crop. The
setting depends on the required degree of conditioning of the
crop (+: increased conditioning intensity; –: reduce
conditioning intensity).

Check the conditioner for damaged prongs before work
commences:
Straighten any bent flails.
Replace any broken flails.

Broken and bent prongs cause irregular
rotation. Therefore they must be
replaced immediately!

3.7 Adjusting the swath width

The machine offers two crop laying modes:

•

Swathlaying

•

Spreading the crop over the full width

3.7.1 Swathlaying

Swath width can be varied by adjusting the conditioner flaps (1) located on the rear side of the machine.
Ringnuts are provided to lock the conditioner flaps in the desired position.
