Maintenance
Lower the guards. No-one should be
standing in the danger area of the
machine.
Rest the spirit level (1) on two mower disc hubs and
adjust the cutter bars.
Oil check
Lengthwise alignment
Oil change for the cutter bar
•
Use a suitable collecting container
•
Unscrew and remove the oil discharge screw (1)
under the cutter bar (tilt the cutter bar lower)
•
Drain off the oil
•
Screw in the discharge screw
•
Fill up with oil
•
Readjust the cutter bar horizontally and vertically for
checking the oil (see Oil level check)
•
Oil quality:
SAE 90
•
Amount:
5 litres (AMT 5000 CV) per mower unit
9 litres (AMT 4000 CV)
Let the machine run briefly. Wait until the machine has
come to a standstill.
Turn and remove the oil check screw (1). It is locatecd
in the cutter bar near the third disc (from the main
gearbox).
The oil level must reach the lower edge of the check
hole, if necessary top up the oil (SAE 90).
Check the oil level regularly every 100 operating hours.
Switch off the engine. Remove the
ignition key.
