Adjustments
CAUTION: Do not move the swivel cylinder out too
far. The drive may be damaged.
Max. extension position is reached when the
connection rod appears in the display.
3.3 Adjusting the ground pressure
The cutter bar weight is adjusted using extension
spring (2). The ground pressure is adjusted using the
threaded spindle (1). Adjustment should be made on a
firm area. Cutterbar ground pressure should be:
100 - 120 kg (AMT 4000 C)
50 - 70 kg per mower unit (AMT 5000 CV).
Move the stop (1) on the swivel cylinder (2) in the
direction of the arrow (top position). Activate the swivel
cylinder with the double-action control unti.
Open the shut-off tap for the double-action control
unit (blue 2).

The machine is in working position
•
Close the shut-off taps (2) by adjusting the lever (1)
