You can control the VP-771 from the infrared remote control transmitter:

POWER Toggle the power save mode ON or

PIP Enter the dual window mode (the latest
setting), see Section 7.2
BLANK Toggle between a blank screen black
screen and the display (for both
windows)
FREEZE Freeze/unfreeze the output video image
(for both windows)

DP Select the DisplayPort input
PC1 Select the UXGA 1 input

YPbPr Select the component video input
Press ENTER to access menu levels
(right arrow)
Use the up and down arrows to adjust
numerical values and adjust the output
volume level (when not within the OSD)
MENU Enter/Exit the OSD menu and return to
the previous menu level
MUTE Toggle between muting (blocking out
the sound) and enabling the audio
output
