Turning On the Copier
A few seconds after the copier is turned on, the indicator on the [Start] key
lights up in green and the message “Warming up. Pre-program a job.” ap-
pears on the touch panel.
At this time, a delayed copy job can be specified. (For more details, refer
to page 3-26.)
However, even though the [Start] key is pressed, the copy operation is not
performed until the copier has finished warming up (after about 5 minutes
at normal room temperature (68°F/20°C)).
Default Settings
The Basic screen, which appears on the touch panel when the copier is
turned on, displays the default settings. The Basic screen serves as a ref-
erence for all settings that are to be made.
