4 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Connection of the implement to the tractor
• When you attach the implement to the three-point link-
age of the tractor, set the all control levers in a security
position. Unintended lifting or lowering must be impos-
sible.
• When you attach the implement to the three-point link-
age of the tractor, make sure that the tractor and the
implement are compatible.
• The area of the three-point linkage is a danger area for
squeezing and shearing.
• When you operate the control levers for the three-point
linkage from outside the cabine of the tractor, never stay
between the tractor and the implement.
• Make sure that during the transport position of the im-
plement, the three-point linkage of the tractor is lock
from the lateral movement.
• When you drive on public roads with the implement
lifted, make sure that the lifting control lever is locked
against unintentional lowering.
To connect the implement to the tractor:
1. Connect the lower hitch points to the bottom pins of the
headstock (category II outside and category I inside).
2. Secure with the safety pin.
3. Connect the upper hitch point to the headstock so the
frame is nearly vertical.
Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft connection
NOTICE:
To install and remove the PTO shaft, stop the
engine.
NOTICE:
Only use the supplied PTO shaft or the PTO
shaft that the manufacturer approve.
Install the PTO shaft with the radial pin clutch toward the
tractor.
Adjust the length of the PTO shaft to the tractor before
you perform the following steps. If you use the implement
with different tractors, check that the PTO shaft has the
correct length.
NOTICE:
The safety guards on the tractor side and on the
implement side must be intact.
1. Release the PTO shaft from the support chain.
2. Push the PTO shaft onto the tractor PTO shaft until
you engage the locking balls.
3. The safety chain secure the safety guard of the PTO
shafts on the tractor side. On the implement side there
is a full-covering protection. The clamp secure the
full-covering protection.
4. Press the chain pole after the installation of the PTO
retaining chain.
NOTICE:
The chain secure the safety guard of the PTO
shaft.
