Safety
• Always stop the machine prior to repair and main-
tenance and make sure that the machine cannot be
started by mistake. A lockable safety switch for the
machine must always be mounted.
• Never put your hand into the inlet and outlet
openings of the machine during operation.
• Take care that all guards are intact and properly
secured during operation.
• In case of abnormal vibrations or noise, stop the
machine immediately and examine the cause. In
case of doubt, skilled assistance must be called in
for repair and maintenance.
• In case of moving the machine, make sure to use
the stated lifting points.
• Take care that the machine is secured against
falling down upon installation.
• Take care that no foreign objects, which cannot be
handled, get into the machine.
• Always use the conveyor belt of the machine to
convey the material into the machine. By manual
feeding open sheets can pull your hand into the
machine and result in severe personal injuries.
• If the machine is blocked by sheets on the conveyor
belt or at the feeding into the machine, do not
remove the sheets, before the machine is stopped.

• Take care not to have your fingers caught when
working with the cutter knife shaft – use thick
gloves.
