3.14.4 JD11/RS232 Computer Interface
The Computer Interface JD11is a standard D-Type, 9-pin, female. It is an intelligent RS 232 serial port
allowing the UPS system to be connected to a computer. When used with the optional PowerREPORTER
software it allows the computer to monitor the mains voltage and the UPS system status continuously and
display a message in the event of any changes.
3.14.5 JD12/RS232 Interface for Multidrop
The Computer Interface JD12 (5) l is an intelligent RS232 serial port that monitors signals from several UPS
cabinets connected in parallel. The connector JD12 is a standard D-Type, 9-pin, male.
3.14.6 USB/2 Computer Interface
The Computer Interface USB (6) is in parallel with the intelligent RS 232 serial port JD11.
When installed, the USB Computer Interface and the optional WAVEMON software allows the computer to
monitor the mains voltage and the UPS system status continuously.
