Then take off the filter element.
Filter Element
→
Filter can be cleaned using a mild soap and water
solution. If extremely dirty, replace filter element.
CHECKING THE MOTOR
The motor has a manual reset overload protector. If the motor overheats, for any reason, the
overload protector will shut off the motor. The motor must be allowed to cool down before
restarting.
If the overload protector shuts the motor off frequently, check for a possible voltage problem.
Low voltage can also cause the following problems:
→
The motor does not get up to full power or speed.
→
Fuses blow out when starting the motor, lights dim and remain dimmed when motor is
started and is running.
STORAGE
Before storing your air compressor, be sure to perform all the following steps:
→
Flead the Maintenance section and perform all scheduled maintenance as necessary.
→
Set the Auto / Off switch to „OFF“.
→
Turn the regulator counterclockwise and set the out pressure to zero.
→
Remove any air tools or accessories.
→
Pull ring on safety valve and allow air to bleed from the tank until the tank pressure is
approximately 1.5 bar. Release the safety valve ring.
→
Drain water from air tank by opening drain valve on bottom of tank.
WARNING
Water will condense in the air tank. If not drained, water will corrode and
weaken the airtank causing a risk or air tank rupture.
→
Protect the electrical cord and air hose from damage, such as being stepped on or run
over. Wind them loosely around the compressor shroud.
→
Store the compressor in a clean and dry location.
