Foot Switch
The casing (2) of the foot switch (1)
item no. 79-800-01-04, securely rests on the
floor and is connected to the foot switch socket
(section 4.4.4 “Foot Switch Connection”,
page 25) on the rear of the device (item 4,
section 4.4 “Rear of Device”, page 24) via the
connection cable (3).
In
LASER READY
mode the foot switch activates the device for the emission of laser light. The
foot switch also activates accessory devices that are connected to the “Accessory Port” (see
section 4.4.6 “Accessory Port”, page 28).

The laser is activated by pressing the foot switch.
•
Laser light is emitted.

The laser symbol appears on the display.

The laser signal lamp is lit yellow. If a pulsed laser is used, it is lit up in intervals
concomitant with the laser light.
•
Upon release of the foot switch, the emission of laser light stops immediately.

The laser signal lamp turns dark.
—
The display shows
LASER READY
again.
NOTICE
When the foot switch is activated, rotary knob and key field are blocked.
NOTICE
Accessory devices are activated when the foot switch is pressed even if no laser light is
emitted.
