Requirements for the electrical connection
• Observe all electrical safety regulations when installing the appliance.
• Use an appropriate circuit according to local safety regulations.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified person.
• Connect the power cord, the neutral wire and the earth wire properly.
• Make sure to switch off the power supply before carrying out any work related
to electricity.
• Do not connect the power until the complete installation has been completed.
• The air conditioner is an electronic class I appliance. Earthing must be carried
out by a specialist. Do not use the appliance unless it is properly earthed,
otherwise you may get an electric shock.
• The yellow-green wire or the green wire (depending on the model) in the air
conditioner is the earth wire. Do not use the earth wire for any other purpose.
• The earthing resistance must comply with national electrical safety
regulations.
• The appliance must be installed in accordance with national regulations.
• All wiring must comply with local and national regulations. The wiring must
therefore be installed by qualified personnel. If you have any questions about
the following instructions, consult a qualified electrician.
• Check the existing power supply and correct any problems before installing
and operating this appliance.
• The wiring diagrams are located on the cover of the control box. The assembly
unit diagrams are on the cover plate.
