Installation of the SIGA-DMP Duct Detector Mounting Plate

To install a DS-PS smoke detector with SIGA-DMP plate onto an air duct:

1. Cut out an area on the air duct in an easily accessible, clearly visible location.
2. Mount the detector base to the SIGA-DMP plate and:

a. Connect system loop wiring to the detector base.
b. Attach the detector head to the detector base.

3. Attach the SIGA-DMP assembly to the air duct.
4. Install the SIGA-DMP blank cover to the SIGA-DMP plate (shipped with SIGA-DMP kit).
5. Perform initial installation testing.
6. Perform functional testing.

Note:

The DS-PS Photoelectric Detector is not compatible with the SIGA-LED Remote Alarm LED.
