City Tie Wiring
Refer to the wiring diagram shown below (Figure 2-33) for City Tie Card connections. Refer to
Section 2-7.2,
Inserting and Securing an Expansion Card
for instructions on how to install the City
Tie Card.

CAUTION
Any communications wiring which exits the building or facility should not be routed to or
located inside the same conduit as the AC power.
1. Only one output, Reverse Polarity, Local Energy or Shunt,
can be programmed to activate during alarm. Only one
output should be wired.
2. Maximum of one 12 AWG wire per terminal.
