Using InfiniiMax III+ Probe Heads
Soldering the probe head to the DUT
Before using the following procedure, refer to
To solder the probe head to your DUT, complete the following steps. The
procedure is very similar to that for the ZIF probe tips used with the N5439A probe
head.

Position the probe head near the location on the DUT where you want to solder
the probe.

Add strain relieve for the probe head as described in

Tin the leads with a small amount of solder.

Use tweezers to form the probe head wires to fit your DUT’s geometry.

Flux the DUT leads and your probe head wires.
