Determine density of sinking solid bodies (d >1 g/cm

3

) 

1.  Remove the immersion basket and place the glass beaker filled with the auxiliary 

liquid in the centre of the platform. Filling height should be approx. ¾ of the 
capacity. Make sure that it has no contact with the frame. 
Remount the immersion basket. Make sure that it does not touch the glass 
beaker. Set balance to zero. 

 

 

2.  Place solids in the upper sample dish.
