The radiator may only be installed by a special-
ised tradesman.
The following activities may only be carried out
by an electrician in accordance with BGV A3:
Connection of the electrical unit
Connection of the heating element to the
electrical unit
An electrician is someone who can assess the
work assigned to him and identify possible
dangers due to his specialist training, knowl-
edge, experience and his knowledge of corre-
sponding regulations.
Safety precautions
Read these instructions thoroughly before
installation.
After installation, hand over the manual to
the end user.
Observe the safety instructions in the sepa-
rate instructions of the electrical unit.

Danger to life!
Check the location of the supply lines
(electricity, gas, water).
Do not drill into any of the lines.

Danger of injury!
Take the weight of the radiator (see
Page 31) into account.
Work with lifting equipment or several
persons for weights from 5 kg upwards.

Damage to person and property!
Check the bearing surface for load-carry-
ing capacity. Take the weight of the radi-
ator (see Page 31) and possible additional
loads into account.
Check the fastening material suitability
and adapt to the structural situation.
Observe special requirements for e.g.
public buildings (schools, etc.).

Conditions of use
Please note that electrical units may only be
installed in certain areas in rooms with bath
and shower facilities when choosing the in-
stallation site. Observe the corresponding
local regulations.
Do not connect the radiator to the heating
system.
Only operate the heating element with the
rated voltage (see rating plate).
Observe the limitations on use in damp
rooms in accordance with local conditions.
Only transport and store the radiator in the
protective packaging.
Observe the minimum distances between
the radiator and ambient parts to ensure
air circulation: 50 mm.
Complaints
Contact the supplier.
Disposal
Take the packaging and parts not required
to a recycling centre or authorised waste
management facility. Observe the local
regulations.

right or left in the radiator

Test pressure: 7,8 bar
Filling: Non-flammable, non-toxic heat car-
rier liquid
Operating mode: Electrical operation, in-
dependent of heating system, with control
via electrical unit
Installation
Put down the radiator with installed heating ele-
ment so that the cable is not bent or damaged.
Preparatory activities (see Fig. 1–5)
Ensure that a properly installed connector
socket (30 V, 16 A fuse) is available within
the range of the cable.
Check the delivery for completeness and
damage.
Lay out any tools that are required.
Remove the installation protective packag-
ing only at the fastening and connecting
points.
