MAIN MOTOR-TO-IDLER GEAR BELT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (FOR MAIN BROOM)

Disassembly

Remove the hood (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).

Loosen the nut (A) and move away the clutch (B) from the crankshaft (H).

Manually disengage the belt (C) from the pulley (D).

Remove four screws (E), then remove the idler gear assembly (F) and the belt (G) by disengaging it from the pulley (I).

Assembly

Perform steps 2 to 4 in the reverse order.

Visually inspect and adjust the driving belts and clutch (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).

Install the hood (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).
