Low/High Heat Selection

•  Press the LOW/HIGH HEAT   button to select the output power. The heater 

will work with full rated power output when [ HI ] is displayed, and with reduced 
power when [ LO ] is displayed. 

Temperature Setting

The heater has a thermostat which you can set to maintain the room temperature 
at a certain level. When you switch on the heater, it displays the ambient room 
temperature.
•  To set the temperature, press the POWER   SET button again until the temper-

ature starts flashing. Then use the UP   or DOWN   buttons to set the desired 
temperature, in 1 degree steps, within the 5°C to 45°C range.

•  The heater will now heat the room to the set temperature, and will cycle on and 

off to maintain that temperature.

Timer Setting

The heater has a timer which you can set to switch off the appliance after a set 
period of time. When the timer is set, the timer icon will illuminate on the display.
•  To set the timer, press the POWER   SET button again until the timer icon il-

luminates on the display and [ 0 ] starts flashing. Then use the UP   or DOWN   
buttons to set the desired time period, in 1 hour steps, after which you want the 
heater to stop heating. The timer range is 0–24 hours. 

•  The timer countdown will start after a few seconds. When the set time period 

has elapsed, the heater will switch to standby mode.

Child Safety Lock

The heater has a child safety lock which you can set to prevent unauthorised 
tampering with the controls. 
•  To set the child safety lock, the heater must be in working mode.
•  Press and hold both the UP   and DOWN   buttons at the same time for 

3 seconds to lock the system. On the display, the child lock [  ] icon illuminates 
for 3 seconds, indicating that the child safety lock is set. After 3 seconds, the 
ambient temperature will again be displayed. When a button is pressed while 
the system is locked, the child lock [  ] icon lights up for 3 seconds.

•  To unlock the child safety lock, press and hold the UP   and DOWN   buttons 

at the same time for 3 seconds. Alternatively, switch off the heater at the POWER 
[ I / O ] switch. (If the timer is set, expiry of the timer also unlocks the system.)
