When turning your heater on for the first time it is normal for the

heater to emit a ‘new heater’ smell, which will quickly pass.

This is no cause for concern. Ensure good ventilation.

Location

If using the heater freestanding,

place it in an upright position on a firm, level, dry

and heat-resistant surface, taking into considering all relevant safety information on
the previous pages. Ensure that there is sufficient distance from the wall, fixtures
and other appliances and at least 1m at the front of the heater to exclude the risk
of fire.

Connection and Standby Mode

•  Make sure the POWER switch at the side of the appliance is in the OFF [ O ]

position, then plug the heater into an appropriate power point and switch on

power to the outlet.

•  Always use a separate socket that has no other high wattage appliances

connected at the same time – do not plug it into a power board or socket

adaptor; do not use an extension cord.

•  Press the ON/OFF switch to set the heater into standby mode. The unit will beep

briefly and the power indicator illuminates on the display.

Switching On / Off

•  Press the POWER   SET button to start heater operation. The ambient room

temperature will be displayed and the heater will start operation according to
the default settings (high heat selection, and 35

°

C temperature setting).

Switching Off

•  Press and hold the POWER   SET button for 3 seconds in any status to set

the heater to standby mode. All indicators will extinguish, except for the power

indicator.

•  Press the POWER [ I / O ] switch at the side to switch off the heater.

Operating Instructions

Using the Heater
