Problem

Water leaks every load.
Hoses not installed correctly.
Check all fill and drain hose connections to ensure that
they are tight and secure.
LCD Screen is dim.
Normal screen dimming.
Screen Brightness is set too low.
This is normal. The screen dims after four minutes of
inactivity. Touch the screen to bring it back to your regular
brightness setting.
Adjust the screen to a brighter setting on the System Settings
screen (refer to page 26).
Touch screen does not
respond or the wrong
icons are selected.
Touch screen needs to be
calibrated.
Touch Screen needs to be reset.
Touch the Touch Screen Calibration button on the Systems
Settings screen and touch each target as it is displayed (refer
to page 26).
Unplug the washer for 60 seconds. Plug the washer in and
wait 30 seconds. Press the POWER button to turn on the
washer. If the touch screen still does not respond, call for
service.
Touch screen is blank,

Press the POWER button to turn the washer ON. Touch and
hold the Kenmore Elite logo on the power up screen for one
second to turn off the demo mode. Press the POWER button
for normal operation.
If the Demo icon is not present, unplug the washer for 60
seconds. If the washer still will not operate, call for service.
