NOTICE
Screws of strength class 8.8 are required to fasten the brake to the motor end shield.
Please note: Spring washers or other unsuitable screw-lock mechanisms are not permit-
ted!
4. Fasten the brake to the end shield using the fastening screws (use screws of strength class 8.8
through the end shield into the threaded holes provided in the magnet housing).

5. For this, tighten the screws slightly crosswise (refer to the numbering in the illustration) until the rear
side of the stator lies flat on the contact surface (bearing). The screw-in depth must be observed!
6. Tighten the fastening screws evenly in several revolutions with increasing torque to ensure that the
magnet housing is evenly pre-tensioned against the contact surface.
