tect the bat te ry from disch ar ging com ple te ly when the unit has not
been swit ched off un in ten tio nal ly, the PULSE STAR II PRO au to ma ti -
cal ly turns off be fo re the bat te ry may be co me da ma ged. By sim ply
tur ning off and on with the con trol knob PWR VOLUME, the PULSE
STAR II PRO will run for a short time again, but the bat te ry must be
re char ged as soon as pos si ble! ATTENTION: Af ter tur ning off the
PULSE STAR II PRO ma nu al ly, plea se wait for a few se conds be fo re
swit ching the unit on again, ot her wi se the au to ma tic po wer off
might turn off the unit again im me di ate ly!
Care of your equip ment
The PULSE-STAR II re qui res very litt le ser vi ce. Cle an the elec tro nics unit
from dust and dirt with a soft cloth from time to time. Al ways cle an the
coils be fo re sto ring them in the car ry ing case. Do not sto re any of the
parts when wet. Plugs and so ckets must al ways be kept cle an and dry.
Co ver the plugs with dust caps (supp lied with the coils only).
When functio nal pro blems oc cur, al ways check the bat te ry con di ti on of
the PULSE-STAR II PRO first. A low bat te ry will be in di ca ted im me di ate ly
by shorts beeps every eight seconds.
All se arch coils built for the PULSE-STAR II are wa ter pro of, ho we ver,
the elec tro nics unit is not and should ne ver be pla ced in wa ter or ex -
posed to rain.
