Troubleshooting
Symptom
What you should check
IS12F does not turn
on.
• Is the battery pack installed correctly?
• Is battery empty?
Cannot charge the
battery pack.
• Is the battery pack installed correctly?
• Is the charging jack of the Desktop Holder
or IS12F dirty? If it is dirty, clean it with a
dry cotton swab etc.
• Is the power plug of the AC adapter plugged
correctly into a power outlet or vehicle
cigarette lighter?
• Is a PC turned on when you use the
microUSB cable 01 (sold separately)?
• Long-term use of telephone or data
communication while charging can raise
the temperature of the IS12F and stop
charging. If this happens, wait until the
IS12F cools down and then try charging
again.
IS12F becomes
warm during
operation or
charging.
• Your IS12F, battery pack or adapter might
heat up, for example, during operation or
charging, or when watching 1Seg for a long
time while charging the battery. However,
continue use since there is no problem in
terms of safety.
IS12F becomes hot
during charging and
stops functioning.
• If you activate several applications, use
camera, connect to the Internet for a long
time while charging, the temperature of
the IS12F may be raised. When the IS12F
is in high temperature state for a long
time, preventing from low temperature
burn, charging or part of functions may be
stopped.

Battery charge life is
short.
• Are you leaving the phone for long periods
in an area that is outside the service area?
• Has the battery life come to the end?
• Are applications or functions not in use
running?
Power cuts off or the
IS12F restarts.
• Dirty battery pack terminals can cause poor
contact, resulting in power turning off.
Use a dry cotton swab to wipe off any dirt
from the battery pack terminals.
The correct operation
is not performed
when I tap.
• Are you wearing gloves?
• Are you tapping with the tips of your
fingernails or with an object?
• Is a protective sheet affixed to the display?
• The display of the IS12F uses an
electrostatic touch panel. Touch the display
with your finger to perform operations.
Nothing happens when
I touch the display.
• Turn the power off and then back on again.
Screen response is
slow when I tap the
screen or press a
button.
• This can happen when you are saving
a large volume of data to your IS12F or
transferring a large volume of data between
your IS12F and a microSD card.
Data is not
displayed normally or
normal touch panel
operations are not
possible.
• Restart your IS12F.
Nothing happens
when I press a button.
• Is the IS12F in sleep mode?

IS12F operation is
slow, application
operation is unstable,
or some applications
do not start up.
• Operation becomes unstable when
remaining IS12F memory capacity runs low.
If the low memory message appears, delete
applications you do not need in order to free
up memory space.

• Is a different micro au IC card from yours
inserted?
