Using Contacts
You can store phone numbers, mail addresses, internet call,
etc. in the Contacts. And you can contact someone or use
au one Friends Note from the registrations of the Contacts.
Registering a contact
In the home screen, → "Contacts"
The contact list is displayed.

→ "Register"
• You can select registering destination from between
"Contacts" and "au one Friends Note".
Input required items
"Done"
Checking contact details
In the contact list, tap the index

→ "Search" → Enter name (fist name, last name,
reading) to search.
Tap the contact you want to check
The personal information screen is displayed.
Watching 1Seg
1Seg is a terrestrial digital TV broadcasting service for mobile
devices that can receive audio, video, and data broadcasts.
■ Cautions when using 1Seg
• There are no call or packet charges when using 1Seg.
However, there are packet charges if you use added services
that transmit broadcast data.
• 1Seg function supports only a terrestrial digital TV
broadcasting 1Seg service in Japan. Since the methods or
frequency of broadcasting differ from ones in Japan, 1Seg
broadcasting service cannot be used overseas. BS/110
degree CS east longitude digital broadcasting, terrestrial
analog TV broadcasting are not available.
• Be careful, the IS12F becomes warm while 1Seg is
playing, if it is against your skin for a long time it may
cause low-temperature burns.
• Do not use 1Seg while driving a car, riding a motor bike,
bicycle, or walking. Surrounding sounds may not be heard
clearly, and gazing at the screen might distract your
attention causing a traffic accident.
• Be aware that listening loud sound for a long time may
cause hearing problem.
