Data management

Using a microSD card

Your IS12F supports use of microSD cards and microSDHC
memory cards.
• Do not turn off the IS12F or subject it to impact while

microSD card data is being accessed. Doing so creates
the risk of data corruption.

Installing and removing a microSD card

• Before installing or removing a microSD card, first turn off

the IS12F and remove the battery pack.

■ Installing a microSD card

With the metal contact

side of the microSD
card facing down,
carefully insert the
card into the slot and
push until it clicks
into place

Attach the battery pack and cover

microSD card
insertion entrance

◎ Make sure of front and back/top and bottom of the microSD

card.

Trying to force a wrongly oriented card into the slot could make

it impossible to remove the card and result in damage.

■ Removing the microSD card

Carefully push the microSD card until it

clicks, and then release it (①)

When the microSD card clicks, pull forward lightly holding
with your fingers. Keep holding the microSD card which pops
up slightly. If you release your fingers from the microSD card
right after pressing on, the microSD card may jump up.

Pull the microSD memory card straight out of

the slot (②)

Attach the battery pack and cover

◎ Do not touch metal contacts of microSD card.
◎ Do not pull the microSD card by force. Doing so may cause a

fault or loss of data.
