International calling
Making a call outside the country you are
visiting (including Japan) (GLOBAL PASSPORT)
You can make calls from a country you are visiting to another
country.
In the home screen, (Phone)
Input + (touch and hold "0") → Country code
→ Area code (city code) → Other party's
phone number
• If the area code (city code) begins with "0", omit the "0".
(However, "0" must be included when making a call to
some countries or regions such as Italy and Moscow.)
• Alternatively, you can enter area code (city code) → Enter
the phone number →

→ "international call" → Tap
country code of the other party to make a call.
• When the other party you are calling uses "GLOBAL
PASSPORT", enter "81" (Japan) as the country code
regardless of the country you are calling.
• You can use the following operation to call Japan or a
person using GLOBAL PASSPORT.
Input the area code (city code) → Input the phone number
