This command is used to perform a soft reset. Any existing connections will be lost,
even though the other station may still indicate a connection to your station. The initial
sign-on message will be displayed.

RESTORE

When the command RESTORE is given, the MT1200 will revert to its factory default
settings, and will start to its AUTOBAUD routine.

RETRY n (n = 0 - 15)

This command specifies the number of packet retries. Packets are re-transmitted n
times before an operation is aborted. The time between retries (when no
acknowledgment is received) is specified by the command FRACK.

RING {ON | OFF}

When ON, three bell characters ($07) are sent to the terminal with each “***
CONNECTED TO” message (when another station initiates the connect).
