ADJUSTABLE SEATS WITH REMOVABLE COVER
•
Your kayak is supplied with two adjustable seats with removable cover, that feature comfortable high
backrests. The seats are held in place by the scratch strips on the underside and by webbing straps on the
sides of the backrest.
•
Place the seats into the kayak, matching the position of the Velcro strips on the floor.
Attach the webbing straps from the sides of the backrest to the D-rings located inside the kayak, on the
side walls/chambers. Tighten the straps as needed for proper back support. You can choose the seat position
for one or two persons.
ASSYMETRIC PADDLES
•
4 parts : 2 paddles and 2 tubes to assemble together.
• Pay attention to put the tube with three holes in the middle, which is the one for the asymetry.
DRAIN VALVE
•
Your kayak has been designed with a drain system located on the underside of the kayak in the rear.
The valve is one orifice with plugs; it prevents the lower part of the body getting wet when the kayak is used
in calm water. It may be a little difficult to insert the plug in a drain orifice. The tight fit retains the plug until it
is removed, for example, when the kayak is to be used in white water.
•
The self-draining bottom is a considerable advantage in white water: it allows rapid removal of water from
inside the kayak and thus improves its performance; it is also an additional safety feature, as a kayak filled
with water is difficult to manoeuvre.
•
Note: Before inflating your kayak, you can either close the drainage orifice to stay dry, or open it/them to
allow water
4) MAINTENANCE: DEFLATING – FOLDING THE ITEM – CLEANING
– STORAGE
1 – Remove oars/paddles and other accessories.
2 – To deflate, unscrew the valves’ insert. Remove the fin.
3 – Clean and check the item as well as all the accessories after each use. Rinse it thoroughly making sure
to remove any residues of salt if used in salt water. Use a mild soapy solution, do not use detergents or any
type of siliconebased products. Make sure the product is completely dry before putting it away.
4 – Fold the 2 sides into the middle, then roll it up from the opposite end of the valves (so remaining air can
escape from the valves); start again if you feel there is still some air in the tubes.
5 – When storing your inflatable, keep it in a clean and dry place that is not affected from major variations in
temperature and other damaging factors. You may store it deflated and rolled up in a bag or assembled and
lightly inflated (make sure you do not subject it to deformations). Store it away from rodents
