Setting the resistance of the damping cylinders 

1. Run the boom up and down again. Check to see how the top-

lift moves. In the lower position it shall, relatively easily, set it-
self in the horizontal after having hung somewhat angled in-
wards.

2. As required, adjust the choking of the throttle valve.

Two different types occur

– With one adjustment screw for systems with damping only.
– With two adjustments screws for systems with tilt locking or 

damping.

3. The block with the throttle valve can be found on the front of 

the nose of the boom.
